京都清水焼の上絵職人として培った確かな筆致をもとに、独自の文様表現を展開してきた五福香菜子。
日常の視点を遊び心に変え、ファニーでオリジナルな世界「五福文様」描き出してきました。
本展ではその文様をさらに手をかけ深化させた「シン・ゴフク」に挑戦します。
帯留から酒器、抹茶椀へと広がる作品群をお楽しみにお越しください！

Drawing on her refined brushwork cultivated as an overglaze painter of Kyoto Kiyomizu ware, Kanako Gofuku has developed a unique form of decorative expression known as the “Gofuku Patterns.”
Transforming everyday motifs into playful, witty designs, she has built a world that is both humorous and original.
In this exhibition, she takes these patterns to a new depth and sophistication under the theme “Shin-Gofuku.”
Please look forward to a wide range of works, from obi-dome accessories to sake vessels and tea bowls.

Kanako Gofuku – Profile
Born in Kawachinagano, Osaka Prefecture
Graduated from Osaka University of Arts, Department of Environmental Design
Completed the Design Course at Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School
Worked at a pottery studio in Kyoto Prefecture
2005　Awarded the Kyoto Mayor’s Prize, Kyo-yaki / Kiyomizu-yaki Exhibition
2009　Established her kiln in Kōyaguchi, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture
2013　Received the Encouragement Prize at the Chōza Award Tokoname Ceramic Exhibition
